We are seeking a competent Project Architect with experience in overseeing the architectural execution of mid-rise construction projects (minimum of 7-storey). The primary role is to manage the architectural scope of works during construction—ensuring accurate implementation based on approved plans, alignment with standards, quality compliance, and effective coordination with all project stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage the architectural aspects of construction to ensure alignment with approved plans and specifications.
  • Coordinate closely with structural, MEPFS engineers, interior designers (if applicable), contractors, and suppliers to resolve technical issues.
  • Review and validate architectural shop drawings, material samples, and as-built documentation submitted by contractors.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and prepare technical reports related to architectural progress, issues, risks, and corrective measures.
  • Ensure strict compliance with the National Building Code of the Philippines (NBCP), Fire Code, Accessibility Law, and other relevant LGU/government regulations.
  • Participate in coordination meetings and provide architectural technical insights and resolutions.
  • Monitor workmanship quality, ensure safety and constructability of architectural works, and uphold aesthetic integrity as per project standards.
  • Assist in the review of material take-offs, BOQ validation, and cost-related architectural concerns.
  • Support project documentation for permits, regulatory submissions, and architectural turnover requirements.
  • Maintain effective communication channels across all project teams to ensure timely and accurate implementation.

Qualifications

  • PRC Licensed Architect — required
  • Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in mid-rise building construction (7-storey project experience required)
  • Strong understanding of construction methods, architectural detailing, finishing standards, and quality assurance procedures
  • Proficient in reading and evaluating construction drawings; working knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, and other common architectural coordination tools
  • Familiar with project documentation processes, including permits and site reporting
  • Excellent coordination, leadership, and problem-solving capabilities
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure and within construction timelines

  • Project-Based Contract
  • Project: 7-Storey Building
  • Site Location: Sangi Opon Rd, Lapu- Lapu Cebu
  • Work Schedule: Monday to Saturday, site-based

Job Type: Fixed term

Contract length: 15 months

Pay: Php30, Php40,000.00 per month
