1. Analyze yield performance for each segment within the production line.

2. Conduct initial investigations and develop action plans to promptly address yield fluctuations. Prepare analysis reports for the Production Manager and communicate findings to the Production Supervisor.

3. Lead improvement initiatives focused on top defects within specific segments.

4. Drive quality improvement activities using methodologies such as:

  • Process Analysis
  • Defect Mapping
  • Cause-and-Effect Analysis
  • Regression Analysis
  • Design of Experiments
  • Mistake Proofing
  • Other scientific problem-solving techniques

5. Lead productivity enhancement projects, including Time and Motion Studies, Man–Machine Chart Analysis, and Process Flow Optimization to improve STU.

6. Initiate cost-reduction efforts by conducting Material Analysis and Labor Cost Analysis to address cost-related concerns.

7. Collaborate with Process Engineering and/or Machine Engineering on issues requiring joint resolution.

8. Prepare and process 5M1E documentation related to the production system.

9. Develop and implement 5S structures within work cells and other production areas.

10. Conduct operator training to improve work methods and provide re-orientation as necessary.

11. Create presentation materials and deliver presentations to large groups.

12. Perform other tasks as assigned by the Production Head.

Qualifications:

  • Preferably a graduate of a Bachelors/College Degree in Engineering or its equivalent experience.
  • Preferably with at least 1 year experience in a manufacturing firm.
  • Knowledge or experience in basic QC tools, problem solving, pareto and others is an advantage.
  • Fresh Graduates are welcome to apply.
