Position Summary:
The Internal Messenger / Mailroom Staff is responsible for the efficient handling, distribution, and delivery of documents, packages, and communications within the company and to external partners when required. The role ensures timely, accurate, and secure mail operations while providing general support to administrative functions.
- Perform mailroom activities at the customer premises in an area provided by the customer
- Receive, record and sort incoming mail/courier items
- Perform bank transactions
- Perform adhoc urgent activity - collection/delivery
- Collection and distribution of mail and documents
- Support other administrative and office-related tasks as assigned.
- Deliver important documents/couriers and obtain signature from recipients
- Point person and manned Mailroom office during client core business hour
- Perform mailroom activities at the customer premises in an area provided by the customer
- Receive, record and sort incoming mail/courier items
- Maintain log books / registers for all mails/courier dispatch on a daily basis
- Coordinate with 3rd party courier company to provide international courier services
- Coordinate same day dispatch if received before 1000hrs & 1400hrs or per site-specific courier requirements
- Storage rooms and/or areas maintenance
- High school diploma or vocational course graduate; college level preferred.
- Experience in messenger, mailroom, or office support roles is an advantage.
- Strong sense of responsibility, punctuality, and reliability.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
- Physically fit and able to handle light packages or documents.
- Familiarity with office locations, couriers, or delivery processes is a plus.
