KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Training & Education:- Design, develop, and conduct training sessions on automotive principles, tools, and technologies. This includes creating training materials, manuals, and presentations tailored to different experience levels.

  2. Mentorship:- Provide one-on-one mentoring and coaching to sales and other departments to help them grow in their technical knowledge. Offer guidance on technical challenges, career development, and problem-solving approaches.

  3. Knowledge Sharing:- Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement by organizing knowledge-sharing sessions, workshops, and peer-to-peer learning groups. Ensure that the team stays updated on the latest industry trends, codes, and standards.

  4. Technical Documentation:- Develop clear, concise, and accessible documentation that explains complex automotive concepts. Ensure all resources are regularly updated to reflect the latest trends and methods.

  5. Collaboration:- Work closely with cross-functional teams, and ensure that knowledge is being shared effectively and that technical skills are aligned with company objectives.

  6. Problem Solving & Technical Support:- Provide expert advice and troubleshooting support for automotive practice and challenges. Help the team resolve complex issues through hands-on guidance and collaborative problem-solving.

  7. Continuous Improvement:- Identify opportunities for process improvements and lead initiatives to enhance technical proficiency, efficiency, and productivity.

  8. Other assigned duties.

TECHNICAL SKILLS:

  1. Engine repair and troubleshooting

  2. Transmission service (manual & automatic)

  3. Brake system repair (including ABS)

  4. Suspension and steering repair

  5. Electrical and wiring works

  6. Fuel system and emission control

  7. Exhaust system maintenance

  8. Identifying and cross-checking auto parts

  9. Technical knowledge for sales and customer support

QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.

  2. With 3-5 years of professional experience in mechanical engineering, with at least 1-2 years focused on training, mentoring, or educating others in an engineering environment.

  3. Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly and effectively.

  4. Teaching and Mentoring experience: Previous experience in a teaching, coaching, or mentoring role is highly preferred.

  5. Problem Solving: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with a hands-on approach to challenges.

  6. Leadership & Collaboration: Ability to lead training initiatives, work collaboratively within cross-functional teams, and foster a positive learning environment.
