Job description

The candidate must be a licensed Civil Engineer. At least five (5) years experience in civil engineering works and other related engineering services.

I. New Construction & Renovation Projects

  1. Reports to the Village Manager, Board and the Overseeing Director for

    Construction Committee

  2. Review plans, material specifications, construction schedules, and proposals

  3. Monitor construction projects to ensure compliance with the AHVA Construction Rules

  4. Inspection of construction sites

  5. Ensure installation of proper site enclosures and maintenance of cleanliness on

    the perimeter of the construction site

  6. Review and where necessary amend plans of new construction projects in

compliance to AHVA Construction Rules.

  1. Conduct meetings with the owner, architect, engineer & contractor for the AHVA

    Construction Rules and Regulations before the commencement of house construction.

  2. Prepares Inspection Report for the violation/s done by the Contractor whether or not subject to rectification with the supervision of the Chairman, Construction.

  3. Coordinates with the Construction Committee Security Commander regarding security concerns.
  4. Prepares and computes fees and bonds for collection or for release of construction bonds for submission to the Village Engineer.
  5. Issue a memo to the constructing members for non-working days and other related matters.
  6. Others that may be assigned from time to time.

II. Village Infrastructure & Facilities

  1. Oversee planning and correct implementation of village repair and maintenance

activities and care of village infrastructure and facilities

  1. Work closely with the Construction and Maintenance activities

  2. Perform other tasks that may be assigned to you by the AHVA Board officers and the
