Senior Business Dev Manager

The Business Development Department drives growth for eTap Inc. by increasing business opportunities, entering new markets, and building strategic partnerships with key stakeholders, including end users, companies, partners, and industry influencers, to foster long-term partnerships and maximize revenue to achieve company objectives.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic business development plans tailored to the FinTech industry to drive growth and increase revenue.
- Identify and evaluate new market opportunities within the financial technology sector to expand eTap Inc.'s reach.
Align business development strategies with the overall company objectives and goals, focusing on FinTech innovations and trends.
Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape within the FinTech industry.
- Develop strategies for entering new markets, including market entry plans and go-to-market strategies specific to financial technology.
Monitor and analyze market performance to adjust strategies as needed, keeping abreast of FinTech regulations and advancements.
Identify, establish, and maintain strategic partnerships with key stakeholders in the FinTech industry, including financial institutions, technology partners, and industry influencers.
- Negotiate partnership agreements and manage relationships to ensure mutual benefits, focusing on collaborative innovation and technological integration.
Foster long-term partnerships to enhance brand presence and maximize revenue, leveraging FinTech networks and ecosystems.
Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and revenue within the FinTech sector.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to drive revenue growth, focusing on financial technology solutions and services.
Collaborate with the sales team to develop and execute sales plans targeting FinTech markets.
Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and industry influencers within the FinTech community.
- Represent eTap Inc. at FinTech industry events, conferences, and trade shows to promote the company and its financial technology offerings.
Communicate effectively with stakeholders to understand their needs and provide tailored FinTech solutions.
Lead and manage the business development team, providing direction, mentorship, and support.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performing team environment, emphasizing FinTech industry knowledge and innovation.
Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to team members.
Prepare and present reports on business development activities, performance, and outcomes within the FinTech sector.
- Analyze data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement specific to financial technology.
Use insights to drive continuous improvement in business development strategies and processes.
Collaborate with internal departments, including marketing, sales, and product development, to align business development efforts with FinTech objectives.
- Communicate effectively with senior management to provide updates on business development initiatives and progress.
Participate in strategic planning and decision-making processes.
Compliance with e-tap's safety, security, and information security protocols.
- Perform other job-related functions or duties that may be assigned from time to time.
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or a related field.
- A Master of Business Administration (MBA) is preferred.
- Proven track record of driving business growth and entering new markets in the financial technology sector.
- Strong understanding of market research, analysis, and entry strategies specific to FinTech.
- Excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills.
- Proficiency in CRM software and business development tools.
Professional Experience
- At least seven years of experience in business development.
- At least three years of managerial or senior managerial role, preferably within the Financial Technology industry.
