About the Electrician's role

An electrician's job is to install, repair, and maintain electrical systems in buildings, factories, and other structures. They also ensure that electrical systems are safe and efficient.

An Electrician's duties & responsibilities are as follows but not limited to:

  • Installing electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment
  • Repairingfaulty wiring, equipment, and appliances
  • Testingsystems by using testing devices to identify electrical problems
  • CreatingPlans for electrical-related projects
  • Connecting electrical systems to power lines and other systems
  • Troubleshootingconstruction issues and coordinating with the project team
  • Ensuringcompliance with building codes, zoning laws, and safety regulations
  • Reportingregularly supervisors to provide updates and address concerns daily and summarized monthly
  • Maintenance of Electrical systems to prevent breakdowns
  • Maintenanceof tools, equipment, and materials on the construction site
  • Enforcingsafety protocols and provide guidance to workers to maintain a safe working environment
  • Suggest-for-Hire, mentor, and train fellow skilled laborers, sharing your expertise and helping to develop their skills
  • Conducting regular site inspections and risk assessments

Job Qualifications

  • At least three (3) years of relevant experience as an Electrician unless the candidate has exhibited remarkable results academically or professionally. In such cases, relevant experience can be less than three (3) years, commensurate with achievements.
  • Thorough understanding of construction techniques, materials, and equipment
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills to address issues on the spot
  • Familiarity with local building codes, safety regulations, and industry best practices
  • Ability to read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and specifications
  • Commitment to maintaining a safe and efficient work environment

Please Note

  • This position requires the employee to report to the admin office at QQ Mall, Quiapo, Manila from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Working Conditions

  • The Electrician may work on construction sites, in factories, or in workshops
  • They may be exposed to dust, fumes, odors, heights, and loud noises
  • They may need to stand, walk, climb ladders, and lift heavy objects
