PURPOSE AND SCOPE OF THE POSITION

The Building Maintenance Staff (Electrician) under direction of the Admin Manager and Building Maintenance Supervisor and is in charge of performing a variety of tasks such as carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting and other general maintenance tasks. He is also responsible for the improvement of the facility and the prevention of losses due to poor maintenance.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Monitors and checks electrical supply and electrical requirements of the whole building.

  2. Repairs damaged electrical equipment and replaces busted lights and bulbs.

  3. Prepares reports, requisition slips of supplies as required by the job.

  4. Checks the generator on a weekly basis for preventive maintenance.

  5. Lays out and rewires electrical, telephone and computer wires.

  6. Performs preliminary trouble shooting of service requirements.

  7. Inspects furniture on a regular basis and provides appropriate maintenance.

  8. Assists in the troubleshooting, repair and maintenance of electrical distribution systems.

  9. Provides assistance to aircon, carpentry, plumbing and other maintenance works if needed.

  10. Informs the Head of Maintenance of any maintenance issues.

  11. Assists in the construction of cabinets, tables, shelves and other types of furniture.

  12. Assists in the writing of specifications for repairs and new constructions.

  13. Responds to routine and emergency calls for repairs and service.

  14. Maintains appropriate service and repair records.

  15. May recommend purchases, cost saving measures and assist with the development of the budget; responsible for inventory control

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php19, Php21,000.00 per month
