Job Summary:

The Key Accounts Manager for Modern Trade will be responsible for driving sales growth, managing relationships, and executing business plans with major supermarket chains, hypermarkets, and convenience store groups. The role focuses on strategic account management, effective trade marketing, and ensuring excellent in-store execution to strengthen brand presence and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and grow relationships with assigned modern trade accounts (e.g., SM, Robinsons, Puregold, S&R, Landers, convenience chains).
  • Develop and execute annual business plans, including sales targets, promotional programs, and new product launches.
  • Negotiate trading terms, pricing, and joint business plans in line with company objectives.
  • Track sales performance, monitor stock levels, and coordinate with supply chain to ensure product availability.
  • Collaborate with marketing and trade marketing teams to implement impactful in-store activities and category management initiatives.
  • Conduct regular business reviews with key accounts to assess performance, opportunities, and competitive activity.
  • Ensure merchandising standards, promotional displays, and planograms are executed as agreed.
  • Analyze sales data and market trends to identify growth opportunities within accounts.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
  • Minimum of 3–5 years' experience in Key Account Management within FMCG, specifically in modern trade.
  • Strong negotiation, analytical, and presentation skills.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Excellent relationship-building skills and ability to work cross-functionally.
  • Proficient in MS Office and comfortable with data analysis tools.
