About the role

PMQS Construction Solutions, Inc. is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor (Civil Engineer) to join our team in Pasay City, Metro Manila. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in ensuring the financial success of our construction projects.

What you'll be doing

  • Preparing detailed quantity takeoffs and cost estimates for construction projects
  • Analysing drawings, specifications, and other project documents to identify and quantify required materials and labour
  • Monitoring project costs and identifying potential cost savings opportunities
  • Negotiating with suppliers and subcontractors to secure the best possible pricing
  • Preparing progress reports and financial statements for project stakeholders
  • Collaborating with project managers, engineers, and other team members to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Cost Estimator in the construction industry
  • Strong understanding of construction materials, methods, and cost estimation techniques
  • Proficient in using quantity surveying software and MS Office applications
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
