About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled and licensed Safety Engineer to join our growing team at Triton Constructions Development Corporation. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and compliance of our construction projects in Bacoor City, Cavite. As a Safety Engineer, you will play a crucial part in maintaining the highest standards of health and safety across our operations.

What you'll be doing

  1. Conducting regular site inspections to identify and mitigate potential safety hazards
  2. Developing and implementing comprehensive safety policies, procedures, and training programs
  3. Ensuring compliance with all relevant local and national safety regulations and industry best practices
  4. Investigating and reporting on any incidents or accidents, and taking corrective actions
  5. Collaborating with project managers, contractors, and subcontractors to promote a strong safety culture
  6. Providing expert guidance and advice to the construction team on safety-related matters
  7. Maintaining detailed records and documentation to support the company's safety initiatives

What we're looking for

  1. A licensed Mechanical Engineer or Civil Engineer with a minimum of 5 years' experience in a safety engineering role, preferably within the construction industry
  2. Strong knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations, construction safety best practices, and risk management principles
  3. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to think critically and identify innovative solutions
  4. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels
  5. A proactive and detail-oriented approach, with a commitment to continuous improvement and the highest standards of safety
  6. Proficient in using safety-related software and technologies
