Job Description
Position Title: Bookkeeper / Accountant
Work Set-up: TBA
Schedule: Morning
Salary Range: Php 45,000 - Php 70,000 (Depending on experience)

We are looking for a meticulous and experienced Bookkeeper / Accountant to provide
high-level accounting support to our Australian client. This role requires expertise in
managing complex reconciliations, intercompany accounts, and month-end processes. You'll
be responsible for preparing management reports, maintaining ledgers, and collaborating
closely with external accountants.
The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of bookkeeping experience, strong working
knowledge of Xero and MYOB, and proven ability to handle multi-entity setups and

Core Responsibilities:

• Perform high-level bookkeeping and accounting functions for multiple entities

• Reconcile loan, mortgage, and intercompany accounts accurately

• Conduct bank account reconciliations across several accounts

• Manage accounts payable and receivable processes and reconciliations

• Support month-end close and ensure accurate ledger maintenance

• Prepare management reporting packs and ad hoc financial reports

• Liaise directly with external accountants, advisors, and stakeholders

Qualifications (Required):

• Minimum 5+ years' experience in bookkeeping/accounting roles

• Strong proficiency in Xero and MYOB

• Proven track record in intercompany accounting, complex reconciliations, and
loan/mortgage reconciliations

• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multi-entity records

• Strong organizational and communication skills

• BAS Agent registration or CPA/CA qualification is preferred but not essential
Preferred Additional Experience (Nice to Have):

• Familiarity with CaseWare and practice management tools such as Xero Practice
Manager or HowNow

• Experience with a wide range of AU accounting software such as Reckon,
QuickBooks

• Background in working within Australian public practice or multi-client environments

• Ability to provide insights for process improvement and compliance
