Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced and hands-on Facilities Manager to oversee the overall maintenance, repair and operations of the facility, including gym equipment, building infrastructure, utilities, and all technical systems. This role requires strong leadership in managing a team of technicians and repair personnel, while ensuring the facility remains safe, functional, and well-maintained at all times.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the maintenance and repair of the entire facility, including gym equipment, electrical systems, plumbing, HVAC, lighting, and structural areas.
  • Ensure all fitness and gym equipment are regularly inspected, serviced, and maintained for safety and performance.
  • Supervise a team of technicians, electricians, and repairmen, including scheduling, task delegation, and performance management.
  • Implement and monitor preventive maintenance and repair programs for all equipment and facility systems.0
  • Coordinate with external contractors for specialized maintenance, repairs, or renovation projects.
  • Maintain an accurate inventory of tools, spare parts, and maintenance supplies; ensure timely procurement.

Ensure compliance with health, safety, and building regulations.

  • Address and respond promptly to maintenance issues, emergencies, or service requests.
  • Monitor facility-related budgets and implement cost-efficient solutions where possible.

Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify and address facility concerns.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Facilities Manager or similar role.
  • Solid knowledge and hands-on experience in gym/fitness equipment maintenance/repairs.
  • Strong background in *facility systems (e.g., electrical, mechanical, HVAC, plumbing).
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a team of technicians or maintenance staff.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Preferred Qualifications:
  • Technical diploma or degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, or related field.
  • Certification in facility maintenance or equipment servicing is an advantage
  • Previous experience in managing fitness centers, hotels, commercial buildings, or similar environments.
