SUMMARY OF FUNCTION

A Maintenance Personnel will perform maintenance and repairs for the equipment and facilities assigned and supervised by the Maintenance Engineer.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Conducts routine inspections of facilities and premises as assigned

  • Inspects and identifies equipment or machines in need of repair

  • Troubleshoots issues to determine necessary repairs

  • Performs maintenance-related roles based on business requirements

  • Performs general repairs that do not require a specialized technician

  • Responsible for the completion of all maintenance service requests as assigned

  • Responsible for alerting the Property Manager/Maintenance Engineer of any unusual occurrence and/or damage that have taken place or that may occur

  • Coordinate special projects as directed by the Property Manager/Maintenance Engineer

  • Request supplies and materials needed for repairs and maintenance

  • Assists in overseeing contractors when professional repairs are necessary - Cleans and assists with upkeep of the facilities

  • Observes discipline, safety and good housekeeping - Complete grounds work as directed by Property Manager if there's any

  • Ensure compliance of all work-related activities in a fair, ethical, and consistent manner

  • Report problems regarding FSMS to the authorized person or person-in-charge.

  • Contribute to the effectiveness of FSMS and compliant to FSMS requirements - Performs other relevant task assigned by superiors

EDUCATIONAL AND PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

  • Graduate of Industrial Technology or any 2-year Vocational Course in Mechanical and Electrical (preferably in line with Engineering)

  • Minimum of 1-year relevant experience in a manufacturing

  • Ability to follow instructions from supervisors or senior maintenance workers - Knowledge of general carpentry and repair is an advantage

  • Ability to use hand tools and power tools Experience performing routine maintenance

  • Professional presentation and attitude

  • Attention to detail, has a positive attitude, and work with integrity
