Job Summary:

Responsible for recording daily transactions, managing accounts payable and receivable, preparing basic financial reports, and supporting tax compliance. The Bookkeeper works closely with the accounting and finance team to ensure that all financial data is up-to-date, organized, and aligned with internal policies and government regulations.

This role also involves coordination with procurement, kitchen, and external accountants to support inventory tracking, food cost analysis, payroll processing, and the preparation of Profit & Loss (P&L) statements. The Bookkeeper ensures smooth financial operations by verifying purchase documents, inputting invoices into the Xero system, and assisting in audit and reporting activities.

Key Responsibilities:

· Record daily financial transactions (purchases, sales, receipts, payments) for both entities

· Maintain and update general ledger accounts and journal entries

· Generate monthly Profit & Loss (P&L) statements with external accountant

· Support management with financial insights and reporting

· Maintain organized financial records for audit and compliance

· Support audits, tax filing, and year-end financial reporting

· Verify completeness of purchase documents (P.O., delivery receipt, invoice)

· Match invoices with purchase orders and delivery receipts

· Resolve billing discrepancies and maintain payment records

· Prepare payment endorsement form for wire transfers, and other payment methods

· Reconcile accounts payable ledger and assist in month-end closing

· Input vendor invoices and expenses into Xero accounting system

· Communicate with vendors regarding payment status

· Ensure timely payments and coordinate with procurement team

Inventory

· Review stockstakes and reconcile with purchases

· Prepare weekly inventory reports for management

· Oversee inventory tracking and purchasing records

· Prepare weekly food cost reports and coordinate with kitchen team

· Collaborate with external accountant

Tax Compliance & Payroll

· Prepare and pay monthly withholding tax report and payments (BIR Forms 1601-C)

· Provide monthly input tax summaries for compliance

· Ensure accuracy of tax computations and documentation

· Assist in preparing Payment Endorsement Form PEF) payroll processing, including tips, and government remittances (SSS, PhilHealth, PAG-IBIG, BIR)

Qualifications:

● Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or relevant vocational certification).

● At least 1–2 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting.

● Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, or similar) and Microsoft Excel.

● Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

● Basic knowledge of Philippine tax regulations and compliance (if based in PH).

● High level of integrity and confidentiality.

Preferred:

● Experience in a retail, hospitality, or service-oriented environment.

● Familiarity with POS system reports and inventory reconciliation.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Php40, Php60,000.00 per month
