About the role

JG Manpower & General Contractor Services Corporation is seeking an experienced Accounting Officer to join our team in San Fernando Pampanga. This full-time position is a core part of our Accounting and Finance department, playing a crucial role in maintaining the financial health and reporting for our organisation.

What you'll be doing

  • Preparing and analysing financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
  • Maintaining accurate records of all financial transactions, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and internal policies
  • Reconciling bank statements and managing accounts payable and accounts receivable
  • Assisting with the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and other financial reports
  • Providing support to the Finance team in ad-hoc projects and tasks as required

What we're looking for

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar accounting role, preferably within the construction or contracting industry
  • Strong understanding of financial accounting principles, reporting standards, and compliance requirements
  • Proficient in the use of accounting software and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
  • Excellent attention to detail, analytical skills, and problem-solving abilities
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
