Warehouse Supervisor:

overseeing daily warehouse operations, managing staff, ensuring inventory accuracy, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

Key responsibilities involve coordinating shipping and receiving, tracking inventory, training and evaluating employees, and enforcing safety regulations.

Key responsibilities:

  • Manage daily operations:  Supervise all activities related to receiving, storing, and shipping goods.
  • Staff management:  Train, mentor, and evaluate warehouse staff, and assign workloads and schedules.
  • Inventory control:  Oversee inventory levels through regular counts, cycle counts, and maintain accurate records to prevent discrepancies.
  • Safety and compliance:  Enforce and maintain strict safety and security protocols and ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.
  • Process optimization:  Monitor performance metrics, identify opportunities for improvement, and implement strategies to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Logistics coordination:  Ensure timely and accurate shipping and receiving of products, coordinating with other departments as needed.
  • Equipment maintenance:  Inspect warehouse equipment and machinery and arrange for maintenance and repair when necessary.

Essential skills and qualifications:

  • Proven experience in warehouse operations and supervision.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control principles.
  • Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is typically required, with degrees in related fields being preferred.
  • 1-2 years of experience in warehousing / inventory management.

JOB SUMMARY:

Warehouse Supervisor

1.    Direct report to the General Manager

2.    Supervise the whole warehouse department

3.    Ensure that all warehouse equipment is up to date and working

4.    Coordinate with the QC department during audit

5.    Ensure that warehouse personnel follow Company SOP and rules nf warehouse practices

6.    Ensure cleanliness, tidiness and safety of work environment

7.    Receiving all incoming deliveries

8.    Labelling of all stocks

9.    Responsible for documentation such as Delivery receipt, receiving Report, Bin card and Inventory

  1. Responsible for updating inventory in a timely manner

  2. Withdraw items such as Pharma Products and packaging materials based on the issued Packaging Order

  3. Responsible in the pick and pack and labelling of allocation and request

  4. Responsible in reporting the monthly palletizing

  5. Responsible for picking up finished goods items

  6. Appoint warehouse personnel during overtime
