  • AutoCAD Operators are graduates of BS Engineering (Civil/Mechanical), BS Architecture, BS Computer Science or any equivalent related course
  • with experienced as CAD designer is an advantage. Fresh grad in Engineering course are welcome to apply
  • Supports technical trades, of all disciplines through a variety of tasks including proposal drawings and sketches, maintain design drawings for production, keep directory of drawings up to date and documented.
  • Understand the equations, calculations, and written instructions from designers and engineers before beginning a CAD drawing.
  • Prepares engineering drawings utilizing AutoCAD applications for such features as site plans, foundation and plans, front, rear, and side elevations, cross sections and schedules.
  • Fill in technical details using drawings, rough sketches, specifications, and calculations made by the engineers and surveyors.
  • Uses manual drawing skills for plans that cannot be computer generated.
  • Revises/modifies existing drawings based on instructions from engineers.
  • Visiting sites to gather information, and determine limitations and feasibility of designs.
  • Maintain physical and electronic drawing files, and coordinate document distribution to other components.

  • Assist estimation and costing engineers in estimating and calculating the bill of quantities.
  • CAD operator spends the majority of time working out the plans for an accurate drawing.
