About the role

Anchor Lab' is seeking a skilled Accountant to join our dynamic team in Cebu City, Cebu. As an Accountant, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial records and reporting for our growing organisation. What you'll be doing

  • Preparing and examining financial records, such as invoices, receipts, and financial statements, to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards
  • Analyzing financial data and providing insights to support decision-making processes
  • Reconciling bank statements and handling accounts payable and receivable
  • Assisting with the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to provide financial information and support
  • Ensuring the company's financial activities adhere to relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies
  • Identifying opportunities for process improvements and implementing efficient accounting practices

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar accounting role, preferably in the financial accounting and reporting industry
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and procedures
  • Proficiency in using accounting software and spreadsheet applications
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
