  • Graduate of Mechanical Engineering, and/or Technical Analysis Skills;
  • Experience of at least five (5) years as a Machine Shop Manager;
  • Hands-on working knowledge in different Plastic Molding-related engineering works including factory or building maintenance;
  • Knowledge in Mold making and Trouble Shooting Repairs;
  • Good Math Background /Communication skills ( Spoken/Written )

Major Accountabilities

  • Submits Weekly Machine Shop Progress Report to CEO/VP-Operation;
  • Ensures the molds scheduled for production and Product Audit Reports for moldings;
  • Does and submits mold costing within the required time frame;
  • Ensure the finish molding fabrications for customers at the required time frame.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Coordinates with the Mold Designer / Draftsman regarding the drawing priorities and checks the drawing's design and dimensional accuracy.
  • Ensure the schedules of jobs to accomplish for each Machine Shop personnel;
  • Ensure the daily schedules of MCO and assigned Mechanics stabilization;
  • Ensure the good condition of every molding product in respective specifications;
  • Coordinates with the Engineering/ Production Manager for mold repair/fabrication priorities and the other miscellaneous jobs required by the plant;
  • Coordinates with the Quality Assurance Manager for changes or revisions of the product specifications;
  • Coordinates with the PPIC Supervisor for the schedules of MCOs on any changes thereof.
  • Assist the CEO regarding special customer inquiries, required drawings, required costing, product developments ( with the R&D Department), and other items that need immediate attention.
