Planning Specialist (Mandarin-Speaking)

DIS Tech is a global engineering organization specializing in optimizing performance, quality, schedule, and total cost in Device Interface Board (DIB) design and manufacturing. We support semiconductor testing at both wafer and package level through end-to-end expertise in board design, manufacturing, and assembly.

We are looking for a highly skilled Mandarin-speaking Planning Specialist to join our team.

Qualifications & Experience

  • 3+ years of planning experience in semiconductors or high-mix, low-volume manufacturing
  • Mandarin speaking ability is required (regular interaction with Mandarin-speaking suppliers & stakeholders)
  • Advantage: Knowledge of PCB manufacturing and passive component suppliers
  • Strong ownership, project execution skills, and time management
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and proactive
  • Experience with Oracle (supplier/material modules)
  • Highly proficient in MS Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strong English communication skills
  • Japanese language and IFPSM certification are pluses

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage OTD, manufacturing lead time, and cost for PCBs, substrates, assemblies, and components
  • Support supplier negotiations and yearly cost-reduction initiatives
  • Lead vendor sourcing, selection, contract signing, audits, and performance reviews
  • Track project milestones and daily supplier production status; escalate risks as needed
  • Provide regular project updates and OTD projections to stakeholders
  • Coordinate logistics for each project (shipment, customs, documentation)
  • Work with regional hardware and sales teams for volume forecasts and material planning
  • Maintain accurate project files, dashboards, and supplier documentation
  • Update supplier scorecards and support QBR preparation
  • Drive supplier capability improvements with SQE
