About the role

The Tribute Hotel is seeking a skilled and experienced Finance Officer - Income Auditor to join our team. This is a full-time position based in Quezon City, Metro Manila. In this critical role, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our company's financial records, with a focus on auditing and reporting income streams.

What you'll be doing

  1. Conducting detailed audits of various income sources, including room revenue, food & beverage sales, and other ancillary revenue, to verify accuracy and compliance with company policies and procedures
  2. Analysing financial data and preparing detailed reports on income performance, highlighting any discrepancies or areas for improvement
  3. Working closely with the Accounting team to reconcile accounts and ensure timely and accurate financial reporting
  4. Identifying opportunities to enhance revenue management and internal controls, and making recommendations to improve financial processes
  5. Providing support and guidance to hotel operations teams on financial matters, and ensuring they adhere to relevant policies and procedures
  6. Assisting with the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and other financial analyses as required

What we're looking for

  1. A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  2. At least 3-5 years of experience in a similar finance or auditing role, preferably within the hospitality industry
  3. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and identify trends
  4. Excellent attention to detail and a meticulous approach to record-keeping and documentation
  5. Proficient in the use of financial software and data analysis tools
  6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
  7. A commitment to upholding the highest standards of financial integrity and compliance.
