Insurance Assistant

The Insurance Assistant provides administrative and operational support in processing insurance-related transactions. The role ensures accurate documentation, timely coordination with insurance providers, and efficient handling of insurance applications, claims, and renewals in compliance with company policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in processing insurance applications, policies, endorsements, and renewals
- Prepare, review, and maintain insurance documents and records
- Coordinate with insurance companies, agents, and internal departments regarding policy status and requirements
- Monitor insurance coverage validity and ensure timely renewals
- Assist in the processing and follow-up of insurance claims and required documentation
- Verify completeness and accuracy of insurance-related submissions
- Encode and update insurance data in the system or tracking logs
- Respond to inquiries related to insurance coverage, policy details, and claims status
- Ensure compliance with company policies, insurance guidelines, and regulatory requirements
- Maintain confidentiality of insurance records and client information
- Perform other insurance- and admin-related tasks as assigned
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Insurance, or any related course
- At least 1 year of experience in insurance processing or administrative work (automotive insurance is an advantage)
- Basic knowledge of insurance policies, claims, and documentation
- Proficient in MS Office applications, especially Excel and Word
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Good communication and coordination skills
- Able to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines
