Job Title: Automotive Workshop Supervisor

Location: Balintawak, Quezon City

Job Type: Full-time

Reports To: Service Manager


Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Automotive Workshop Supervisor to oversee daily operations in our workshop. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing workshop staff, ensuring repair and maintenance tasks are completed efficiently, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring health and safety protocols are followed.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of workshop technicians and mechanics.
  • Allocate tasks and jobs based on technician skills and job priorities.
  • Monitor job progress and ensure timely completion of work orders.
  • Conduct quality checks on completed work to ensure standards are met.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot complex automotive issues when necessary.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Maintain workshop tools, equipment, and cleanliness.
  • Liaise with service advisors, parts departments, and customers for smooth workflow.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to mechanics when needed.
  • Prepare daily reports on productivity, job status, and workshop performance.
  • Assist in hiring, training, and evaluating workshop staff.
  • Manage inventory of tools, parts, and consumables.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • College graduate or Vocational graduate (technical or vocational certification preferred).
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in automotive repair, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or team lead role.
  • Strong knowledge of automotive systems (engine, transmission, suspension, etc.).
  • Familiarity with diagnostic tools and workshop management systems.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
  • Valid driver's license (required).

Preferred Skills:

  • NC1 and NC II Certification or equivalent.
  • Experience with light trucks.
  • Knowledge of workshop software such as Netsuite.

Working Conditions:

  • Monday to Saturday work schedule. 8:30am to 5:30pm working hours.
  • May involve standing for long periods, lifting heavy parts, and exposure to noise, grease, and fumes.
