Remote Bookkeeper – Finance & Accounts (Work from Home – Philippines)

Work from Home | Full-time | ₱35,000/month | Australian Hours | Long-Term Role

Australian Energy Upgrades (AEU) is seeking a full-time Remote Bookkeeper based in the Philippines. You'll work directly with our Australian team – not via a BPO – and play a vital role in managing our finance operations, ensuring accuracy and reliability as the business grows.

This is a long-term role with stability and growth potential for the right person.

About the Role

You'll be responsible for managing day-to-day bookkeeping tasks and supporting our finance team in Australia. Your work will directly contribute to smooth business operations, customer satisfaction, and compliance with financial requirements. From time to time, you may also speak directly with customers regarding invoices and finance applications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Follow up on customer invoices and payments (including phone calls if required)
  • Create and manage purchase orders (POs)
  • Process supplier bills and maintain accurate records
  • Reconcile accounts and ensure books are always up to date
  • Complete finance applications for customers applying for finance
  • Work within our accounting and CRM systems (Zoho and related platforms)
  • Collaborate with the Australian team during business hours (AEST)

About You

  • Fluent written and spoken English (must be confident speaking with customers on the phone)
  • Solid bookkeeping and accounting knowledge
  • Experienced with invoice management, POs, and account reconciliation
  • Comfortable preparing and processing finance-related documents
  • Reliable, organised, and highly detail-focused
  • Experience with Zoho Books or similar accounting systems (preferred)
  • Prior experience working with Australian companies is a plus
  • Preference given to candidates who are qualified accountants (CPA or equivalent)

Work Hours

  • Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 6:00pm AEST

(8 hours and 5 minutes of actual work per day, with a 40-minute unpaid break and a 15-minute paid break)

You'll need a reliable internet connection, a quiet home office setup, a fast computer, and a good quality headset.

Compensation Package

  • ₱35,000/month
  • Basic Salary: ₱30,000
  • Allowance (Electricity & Internet): ₱5,000
  • Payment Schedule: Monthly, every 30th of the month
  • Long-term, stable role with direct engagement
