Job Responsibilities:

  • Assume primary responsibility for the successful implementation of assigned SAP processes, solutions and products
  • Analyse customers' business requirements, map to SAP technology, and identify gaps and dependencies among applicable modules
  • Demonstrate product functionality within the client's business context.
  • Develop functional design, specifications and modifications to close gaps
  • Configure the solution (including interface with other modules) and develop test scenarios to ensure the quality of the designed system.
  • Train users and other team members.
  • Prepare documentation for the user's references or as required by the project methodology, ISO requirements and consultants' billing purposes.
  • Establish a sustained and satisfactory relationship with clients
  • Apply change management techniques to fully support the client's transformation and increase the speed of implementation
  • Identify opportunities for additional consultancy work during the project life cycle.
  • Act as primary instructor for at least one SAP Academy course and serve as the content expert of at least one SAP course, including the content's major interfaces with other courses/modules.
  • Prepare and share additional materials such as lecture notes, exercises and slides to increase the value of the academy course
  • Design customised courses and materials to run boot camps and other special training needs of clients
  • Review and respond to the evaluation rating done or comments by the students
  • Provide evaluation and feedback to students regarding their participation in training and readiness to implement or support SAP.
  • Support clients in maintenance mode by resolving system incidents, complying with issue management procedures and providing documentation of raised issues.
  • Provide pre-sales support to the sales team and provide subject matter expertise to marketing for collateral development
  • Contribute significantly to the development of new products and services based on SAP technology and methodology
  • Achieve relevant skills certification to maintain qualifications at par with technology updates
  • Participate in continually improving the business processes and in complying with ISO requirements.
  • Conduct interviews for SAP applicants if assigned as Team Lead

Qualifications:

  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree in Computer/Information Technology, IT-software, Engineering or equivalent
  • At least 4 years of working experience as an SAP SD Consultant
  • Should have a minimum of 2-3 full-cycle implementations and 3-5 mini project implementations
  • Knowledge in S4 HANA, ERP, ECC, SAP B1
  • SAP Certification is required
  • Able to mentor junior consultants
  • Able to prepare for and teach an instructor-led training (ILT)
  • Able to compose best practices for use across the team, department, or unit
  • Excellent customer service orientation
  • Excellent people motivator
  • Can perform all activities necessary in executing a full implementation project
  • Should know about predictive and preventive maintenance
  • Familiar with the ERP business consulting in general and related industries
  • Seasoned through leading several full lifecycle projects, including post-live support
  • Must be willing to work on the day shift.
