Job Title: SAP MM Consultant – S/4HANA (Post Go-Live Support)

Overview

The SAP MM Consultant will focus on post go-live support for S/4HANA landscapes, providing hands-on solutions and customizations requested by business units. This role will actively troubleshoot issues, deliver enhancements, and ensure system stability and business satisfaction following S/4HANA implementation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support SAP S/4HANA systems post go-live, handling issue resolution and system stabilization for Materials Management (MM) modules.
  • Develop, implement, and document custom solutions and enhancements based on business requests in the SAP MM domain.
  • Analyze complex business processes and identify opportunities for system optimization and improvements.
  • Act as a liaison between business users and technical teams, translating requirements into functional specifications and technical developments.
  • Ensure effective integration and collaboration with other SAP modules (FI, CO, SD, etc.) and cross-functional teams.
  • Provide operational support, investigation, and timely resolution for escalated incidents related to procurement and inventory management.
  • Lead root cause analysis and prepare comprehensive documentation of issues and deployed solutions.
  • Participate in user training, testing, and acceptance of new developments and system changes.
  • Continuously improve business processes via proactive consultations and SAP capability enhancements.

Requirements

  • Minimum 4–6 years of SAP MM experience, including at least one full end-to-end S/4HANA implementation or support/post go-live project.
  • Strong hands-on expertise in SAP MM configuration, issue diagnostics, and solution development.
  • Comprehensive understanding of integration with other SAP modules (FI, CO, SD, etc.).
  • Experience in developing specifications, root cause analysis, and user/business documentation.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, able to guide business users and stakeholders.
  • Capable of working independently or as part of a global/distributed support team.
  • SAP certification (MM/S/4HANA) is desirable.
