Salary: Begins at 885 PHP per hour with performance review and potential raise after 6 months.

Job Description:

Are you passionate about the Korean language and culture? Do you enjoy helping others learn in a creative and engaging environment? KoreanLearnin is looking for a motivated Korean teacher with knowledge of English to join our team In this role, you will be responsible for teaching Korean to American students and supporting students in their language learning journey. Conversational (minimum B1-B2) English is required for this role.

Your Role:

  • Teach Korean to students with no prior knowledge of Korean and/or students with basic knowledge of Korean (beginner level). The curriculum will be provided for you.

  • Create and deliver bite-sized learning content (mini quiz, flashcards, interactive slides)

  • Correct students' sentences and pronunciation during class; grade small homework assignments outside of class.

  • Provide guidance to students to improve their language skills. Motivate and empathize with new language learners.

  • Track student progress and provide regular, personalized check-ins.

  • Write occasional community announcements, such as polls and recognition posts.

  • Work collaboratively with the team to ensure our students have an effective learning experience.

Qualifications:

- Minimum Korean level: Native Korean or TOPIK Level 5-6

- Minimum English level: B1-B2 or conversational

  • Must have a reliable internet connection.

  • Available to work 6 AM - 12 PM PHT, every Sunday and Monday.

  • Passion for teaching and helping others learn

  • Creative and detail-oriented, with the ability to adapt lessons to students' needs

  • Previous teaching experience is a plus but NOT required.
