Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated English Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about education and committed to fostering a positive learning environment for students across different age groups.

Responsibilities

  • Provide consistent instruction to the same students on the same day and time each week
  • Teach English language skills, including reading, writing, listening, and speaking
  • Apply effective classroom management strategies to ensure a productive learning environment
  • Provide constructive feedback to support students' academic growth
  • Incorporate educational technology to enhance teaching and student engagement
  • Design engaging lesson plans and teaching materials to promote active learning

Experience & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or higher required
  • Familiarity with classroom management techniques
  • Prior online English teaching experience preferred
  • Knowledge of childcare, early childhood education, primary/secondary education, or educational psychology preferred

Compensation

  • Base pay: 120–140 PHP/hour, plus an additional 30 PHP/hour on weekends
  • Training period: 110 PHP/hour for the first 50 hours, plus 20 PHP/hour on weekends
  • Japanese language skills preferred (+10–40 PHP/hour)
  • Paid weekly teacher meetings (includes Japanese language instruction)
  • Contribution incentives available twice a year (equivalent to approximately one month's salary)
