Outbound Lead Specialist

Unient is a fast-growing provider of offshore professional services to Australian businesses. We are currently seeking an experienced Business Development Officer / Outbound Lead Specialist to join our team and play a vital role in generating outbound sales opportunities. The successful candidate will be instrumental in cultivating new business leads, managing outreach campaigns, and supporting appointment setting efforts with international clients.
This is a permanent, work-from-home role offering a high degree of autonomy and accountability. If you are a proactive and strategic sales professional with solid B2B lead generation experience, particularly in the BPO and outsourcing sector, we want to hear from you.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage and grow the outbound lead database using Microsoft Dynamics CRM.
- Perform structured lead generation using LinkedIn, Google Maps, and other online sources.
- Build and qualify lead lists aligned with business development goals.
- Conduct cold calling and set appointments with international prospects.
- Manage LinkedIn profiles to support outreach and engagement efforts.
- Execute outbound campaigns, including LinkedIn messaging, email, and postal outreach.
- Research and pre-qualify prospects to support the sales pipeline.
- Craft and send tailored outreach messages aligned with Unient's services and value proposition.
- Track outreach activity and maintain accurate CRM records.
- Report on lead generation performance and campaign effectiveness.
- Meet and exceed weekly/monthly KPIs for leads generated and appointments set.
- Collaborate with the Business Development team to optimize outreach strategies.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum of 7 years' experience in a similar outbound lead generation, sales support, or business development role.
- Proven background working with international clients (particularly Australia, UK, USA).
- Previous exposure to recruitment, BPO, or offshore staffing services is highly desirable.
- Professional-level English is a must; familiarity with Australian business communication styles is an advantage (accent training is considered a plus, not a requirement).
REQUIRED COMPETENCIES:
- Exceptional written and verbal English communication skills.
- Strong presentation and professional corporate communication abilities.
- Proven experience working with BPO companies and offshore service providers.
- Essential requirement for direct BPO/offshore staffing industry experience is mandatory.
- Comfortable engaging with Australian, UK, and US business clients.
- Demonstrated success in outbound lead generation, cold calling, and appointment setting.
- Proficient in using Microsoft Dynamics CRM or similar customer relationship management tools.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Ability to understand and meet client needs in a dynamic business environment.
