Will provide technical and administrative support to project managers, site engineers, and the construction team. This role ensures that all project documentation, plans, and schedules are properly prepared, monitored, and maintained. He/she will act as a bridge between office-based project management and on-site operations, ensuring smooth workflow and compliance with project requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Documentation & Records
  • Prepare, review, and maintain project documents, including contracts, drawings, specifications, RFIs, transmittals, and submittals.
  • Ensure proper filing and updating of project records for easy retrieval and audit purposes.
  • Coordination & Communication
  • Coordinate with project managers, architects, engineers, suppliers, and subcontractors regarding project requirements.
  • Serve as a point of contact between the site and head office for technical and administrative matters.
  • Planning & Scheduling
  • Assist in the preparation of project schedules, work programs, and progress reports.
  • Monitor project timelines and provide updates on accomplishments and delays.
  • Cost & Materials Management
  • Prepare and track purchase requests, material take-offs, and inventory monitoring.
  • Assist in cost control by comparing actual expenses against budget allocations.
  • Quality & Compliance
  • Ensure that project activities comply with company policies, safety regulations, and client requirements.
  • Support site engineers in implementing quality control measures.
  • Reports & Presentations
  • Generate weekly and monthly progress reports for management and clients.
  • Assist in preparing presentations, bid documents, and technical proposals when required.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
  • Licensed Civil Engineer (preferred but not always required).
  • Strong organizational, documentation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and work effectively under pressure.
  • Fresh graduates may apply.
  • Willing to do site visits.
