General Accounting Analyst

General Accounting related deliverables, which include, but are not limited to, Treasury Accounting, Fixed Asset Accounting, Lease Accounting, Period-end closing, Financial Reporting, Account Reconciliation, Tax and Statutory reporting, and Intercompany accounting, in accordance with the agreed service level agreement. Role accountabilities:Ensure invoices are validated and coded timely to the valid Purchase Order and correct account codes.

Initiate approval of invoices to authorized approvers based on the approval matrix. Input intercompany data into the ERP system. Ensure intercompany invoices received conform with Arcadis' invoicing requirements.

Respond to basic intercompany invoice, reports, and payment inquiries. Follow Service Level Agreement when processing intercompany invoices and responding to queries. Perform reconciliations between incoming invoices and processed invoices within the mailbox system.

Validate the alignment of intercompany-supplier statements with ledger entries. Assist in the preparation of monthly Balance Sheet Reconciliations. Reconcile transactions between sub-ledger and general ledger accounts in Accounts Payable.

Address inquiries and audit requests promptly and accurately. Maintain close collaboration with the Global Intercompany Team. Update individual and team performance metrics regularly.

Systematically file and archive supporting documentation. Monitor and administer the mailbox system by assigning invoices to regional folders. Prepare month-end journal reports, addressing intercompany accruals for unaccounted invoices.

Assist with monthly VAT validation and reconciliation. Maintain non-critical account reconciliation and ensure relevant schedules are available monthly. Assist in quarterly Intercompany reconciliation and matching in Onestream.

Prepare and maintain process documentation and flowcharts. Provide audit requirements during interim and year-end financial audits. Qualifications & Experience:Bachelor's/College Degree in Accountancy required; CPA is an advantage.1 to 2 years of relevant experience in financial/general accounting, audit.

Experience in Shared Service or Multinational environment is an advantage. ERP system experience preferred. Proficient in Microsoft applications.
