You will be responsible for creating well-researched, authoritative long-form content for our blog and platforms like Substack and Medium, as well as sharp, engaging micro-content for our social channels. This blend requires strong editorial judgement and creative visual skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Long-Form Article Creation: Research, plan, and write high-quality, long-form articles for our blog and platforms like Substack and Medium. These pieces must be well-researched and authoritative within the education and career sectors.
• Persuasive Copywriting: Write clear, concise, and grammatically flawless micro-copy for all our social media channels (Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Pinterest) and targeted ad campaigns.
• SEO Strategy: Apply advanced SEO principles to content (long-tail keywords, meta descriptions, internal linking) to maximise organic reach and domain authority across all content types.
• Visual Storytelling: Design impactful graphics, carousels, infographics, and short-form video content using tools like Canva to support both articles and social posts.
• Brand Consistency: Maintain our unique brand voice and visual style across all content, adhering strictly to British English spelling and grammar standards.
• Trend Monitoring: Stay current with digital publishing trends and algorithm changes, pitching fresh, data-informed ideas to keep our content innovative and relevant.

We are prioritising raw writing talent, research proficiency, and commitment above years of professional experience.

• Exceptional English Fluency: You must have an expert command of English spelling, punctuation, and syntax, suitable for professional publishing.
• Research & Editorial Skill: Demonstrated ability to research complex topics and synthesise information into clear, compelling, and well-structured articles.
• SEO & Strategy: You understand the fundamentals of SEO and how to adapt your writing style for different platforms—from a long-form article to a punchy social caption.
• Design Skills: Proficiency in Canva (or similar tools) with a portfolio that demonstrates your ability to create high-quality, on-brand graphics.
• Organised & Proactive: Highly capable of managing long-term writing projects alongside daily social media tasks in an independent, remote setting.

A Strong Plus:

• Any experience or personal interest in the education or e-learning industry.
• Experience publishing on platforms like Substack, Medium, or LinkedIn Articles.

Initial 3-month fixed-term, renewable based on performance.

Working Hours

Monday–Friday, 8 am–4 pm BST/GMT (UK working hours).

Compensation

$350 - $500 per month (paid in your local currency equivalent).

Progression

Performance-based review after 3 months, with strong potential for salary increases and bonus opportunities based on your contribution and growth.
