About the Role:

We are seeking a motivated and reliable part-time staff member to support our client's car yard business in Australia. The ideal candidate will have solid knowledge of cars, good communication skills, and experience handling online sales or customer inquiries. You'll manage vehicle ads, respond to customers, and help organise appointments with clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and manage ads on Facebook Marketplace and other platforms
  • Respond promptly to customer inquiries via Messenger, phone, and email
  • Organise and confirm client appointments (Australia-based)
  • Maintain and update the business Facebook page with posts and promotions
  • Provide accurate information about vehicles (car knowledge is essential)
  • Assist with customer service and general admin tasks

Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of cars (must-have)
  • Experience in customer service, sales, or social media management
  • Proficient in Facebook Marketplace & Messenger
  • Excellent written and spoken English
  • Reliable, organised, and customer-focused
  • Ability to work part-time, 5 days per week with flexible hours, while still covering some Australian business hours (AEST/AEDT)
  • Stable internet connection and home office setup
