Forklift Operator/Warehouse

Job Title: Warehouse Personnel / Forklift Operator

Job Summary: We are seeking a diligent and motivated individual to join our warehouse team as a Warehouse Personnel / Forklift Operator. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling various tasks within the warehouse, including receiving and dispatching goods, maintaining inventory, and ensuring a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment. The role also requires operation of a forklift to transport goods, ensuring that all items are moved safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

A. RECEIVING

• Receives consignments according to established procedures.
• Coordinates with the Purchasing Assistant to confirm stock availability prior to receiving items.
• Verifies supplier invoices against purchase orders before receiving goods; prepares Good Received Notes (GRN) for proper documentation.

B. PREPARATION & DISPATCHING

• Prepares and dispatches stocks accurately according to the details on accompanying documents.
• Ensures the safe handling and proper storage of goods during preparation and dispatch.

C. WAREHOUSE MANAGEMENT

• Maintains the orderliness of the warehouse by properly stacking, labeling, and organizing inventory.
• Ensures goods are stored in compliance with standard warehousing procedures and safety guidelines.
• Facilitates appropriate disposal of materials per established procedures.
• Promotes cleanliness inside the warehouse, ensuring proper pest control, fire safety measures, and addressing potential hazards to maintain a safe working environment.
• Responsible for conducting regular checks on fire-fighting equipment and making sure all safety measures are in place.

D. INVENTORY MANAGEMENT

• Ensures all stock movements are properly accounted for and documented.
• Participates in regular inventory counts and ensures that discrepancies are promptly identified and resolved.
• Performs cycle counts and assists with year-end audits as required.

E. FORKLIFT OPERATIONS

• Operates a forklift to load, unload, and move goods within the warehouse.
• Ensures the safe operation of the forklift, adhering to all safety protocols and company guidelines.
• Transports materials to various locations within the warehouse, ensuring efficient space utilization.
• Performs routine checks on the forklift to ensure it is in good working condition, reporting any maintenance or safety issues to the warehouse supervisor.
• Assists with unloading goods from trucks and ensures proper placement in storage locations.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in warehouse operations or similar roles.
• Forklift certification (required).
• Ability to operate a forklift and other material handling equipment safely.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Basic knowledge of inventory management and warehouse operations.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to lift and move heavy materials, as required.

Working Conditions:

• The position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From Php12,500.00 per month
