The Role: The Data Analytics Engineer role is a full-time permanent position based in the Philippines, and is a remote working role. Your key responsibilities: Own and manage the entire BI ecosystem in AWS, including data pipelines, infrastructure, and data warehouse (e.g., Redshift or BigQuery). Build and maintain a central BI ETL repository, documenting workflows, transformations, and data logic. Develop and optimize ETL pipelines and dbt projects to model and structure analytics data. Use Terraform or CloudFormation to deploy and manage BI infrastructure as code. Create and maintain clean, reliable datasets for analytics and reporting. Build and manage Tableau dashboards and other BI assets for business insights. Implement data quality checks, documentation, and version control for transparency and reliability. Collaborate with product teams to ensure data solutions align with analytical and operational needs. What you’ll need: 4+ years of experience in Data Analytics Engineering, Data Engineering, or BI Development. Strong hands‑on experience with AWS (e.g., Redshift, S3, Lambda, Glue) and cloud-based data pipelines. Proficiency in Python for ETL development and automation. 2+ years of experience using dbt for data modeling and transformation. Strong SQL skills and solid understanding of data warehousing concepts (e.g., star/snowflake schemas). Experience with Terraform or AWS CloudFormation for deploying and maintaining infrastructure as code. Proven experience building and maintaining Tableau dashboards and BI reporting environments. Familiarity with GitHub, CI/CD workflows, and collaborative coding best practices. Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and ability to own projects end-to-end. (Nice to have) Experience with data observability tools, CI/CD automation, or data governance frameworks.
