About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled Civil/Structural Engineer to join the team at Chronos Construction Corp. as a Site/Office Civil Engineer. This is a full-time position based in Novaliches, Quezon City, Metro Manila. In this role, you will play a crucial part in the successful delivery of our construction projects, providing technical expertise and oversight to ensure the highest standards of quality and safety.

What you'll be doing

  • Oversee and coordinate all civil and structural engineering activities on construction sites

  • Develop and review construction plans, drawings, and specifications to ensure compliance with relevant codes and regulations

  • Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, identify issues, and implement corrective actions

  • Liaise with project managers, architects, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project coordination

  • Prepare and maintain detailed reports, documentation, and records related to the project's civil and structural components

  • Provide technical guidance and support to the construction team to resolve on-site challenges

  • Collaborate with the in-house design team to optimise engineering solutions and improve construction methods

  • Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations on the construction site

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or a related field

  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Site/Office Civil Engineer in the construction industry

  • Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, specifications, and construction plans

  • Strong technical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve complex engineering challenges

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with various stakeholders

  • Thorough understanding of construction methods, materials, and quality control procedures

  • Familiarity with relevant building codes, regulations, and safety standards

  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to work under tight deadlines

  • Willing to relocate
