I. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

1. Corporate Public Relations:

  • Develop and implement a proactive media relations strategy to enhance the organization's presence in both local and international media.
  • Cultivate relationships with key journalists, influencers, and media outlets to secure positive coverage of corporate initiatives and CSR activities.
  • Draft and distribute press materials including press releases, statements, and media kits to promote organizational achievements and events.
  • Execute Corporate PR strategies that align with the resort's business objectives, including crisis communication plans.
  • Monitor and analyze media coverage of the resort and industry trends, providing insights and recommendations to senior management.
  • Organize media events, press conferences, and promotional activities to boost brand awareness.

2. Corporate Affairs' Communications:

  • Collaborate with internal key stakeholders on the corporate affairs matters, align messaging and communication strategies with business objectives.
  • Support crisis communication plans and manage media inquiries during challenging situations.
  • Monitor and analyze media coverage, industry trends, and public sentiment to provide actionable insights to senior management.

3. Strategic Media Partnerships:

  • Handle the partnership enquiry and provide strategic evaluation and recommendations analyses
  • Follow up internal process for execution of partnership events
  • Corporate award solicitation and application

4. Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Initiatives:

  • Lead the communication strategy for CSR programs, showcasing the organization's commitment to sustainability and community engagement
  • Create compelling narratives and campaigns around CSR initiatives, demonstrating impact and fostering community partnerships
  • Identify and engage with non-profit organizations and community stakeholders to enhance visibility and support for CSR efforts
  • Coordinate and execute CSR committee meeting, action plans, monthly newsletter and content calendar to communicate our CSR programs proactively to external and internal stakeholders
  • Organize and manage media events, press conferences, and promotional activities to boost the organization's visibility and strengthen relationships with stakeholders

5. Reporting and Evaluation:

  • Prepare detailed reports on media coverage, impact of communication strategies, and CSR initiatives for stakeholders and senior management.
  • Evaluate public relations efforts and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.

II. JOB SPECIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 experience in media relations and PR; experience within the leisure and hospitality industry is preferred.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects with strong attention to detail and deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to develop compelling narratives.
  • Experience in CSR communications or corporate PR is highly desirable.
