About the role

Ascendion is seeking an experienced Software Project Manager/Technical Delivery Manager to join our dynamic team. In this full-time, onsite role, you will be responsible for driving the successful delivery of complex software project.

What you'll be doing

  • Manage the full software project life cycle, from planning and requirements gathering to development, testing, and deployment
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with the development, design, and business teams to ensure project alignment and timely delivery
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, monitor progress, and address risks and issues proactively
  • Communicate project status and milestones to stakeholders, including senior leadership
  • Lead and mentor a team of software developers, ensuring they have the resources and support needed to deliver high-quality work
  • Implement and continuously improve project management processes and best practices
  • Provide technical expertise and strategic guidance to the project team and stakeholders

What we're looking for

  • 7+ years of experience as a Software Project Manager or Technical Delivery Manager.
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering complex software projects, from planning to deployment
  • Excellent project management skills, including the ability to create and manage detailed project plans, track progress, and mitigate risks
  • Strong technical background and understanding of software development methodologies, such as Agile and Scrum
  • Effective communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate technical information for non-technical stakeholders
  • Proficient in project management tools and software, such as Jira, Trello, or Microsoft Project
  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
