Senior Procurement Specialist - Renewables

Senior Procurement Specialist with strong expertise in logistics, heavy equipment installation, and operations & maintenance services needed to efficiently oversee our sourcing activities. This roles requires experience in managing large-scale procurement projects with a strategic focus on vendor relations and cost efficiency. Excellent opportunity for long term career progression

Responsibilities

  • Source and evaluate suppliers for heavy lift equipment and services in compliance with company standards and project requirements.
  • Prepare, issue, and manage Requests for Quotations (RFQs), Purchase Orders (POs), and contracts specific to heavy lift procurement.
  • Negotiate pricing, delivery schedules, and contract terms with vendors focused on heavy lift solutions.
  • Conduct supplier accreditation, including evaluation of technical capabilities, quality certifications, and compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate with project managers and engineering teams to understand technical requirements and ensure the procurement of appropriate equipment and services.
  • Maintain accurate procurement records, including cost sheets, vendor data, and contractual documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with local laws, import/export regulations, and company procurement policies relevant to heavy lifting operations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in procurement, with significant exposure to big component transportation, logistics and crane operations, preferably in the renewable energy sector.
  • Excellent negotiation skills and a proven track record of managing complex supplier relationships.
  • Strong coordination skills, able to manage and align multiple project stakeholders.
  • Advanced problem-solving capabilities, adept at devising effective solutions under tight deadlines and in complex project environments.
  • Proficient in English and Tagalog.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working effectively in a team-oriented environment
