Job Summary:

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Security Operations Analyst to join our growing security team. This role is responsible for monitoring, analyzing, and responding to security events, ensuring the protection of organizational assets, data, and infrastructure. You will work closely with other IT and security professionals to identify potential threats and implement security measures to mitigate risks.

  • •Monitor security event logs, alerts, and dashboards from various security tools (e.g., SIEM, IDS/IPS, XDR, firewalls).
  • •Perform initial analysis and triage of security incidents to determine scope, impact, and severity.
  • •Coordinate incident response eƯorts, including containment, eradication, and recovery.
  • •Conduct root cause analysis and post-incident reporting.
  • •Maintain and optimize security monitoring tools and detection rules.
  • •Collaborate with infrastructure and application teams to implement security best practices.
  • •Stay current with the latest security threats, vulnerabilities, and technology trends.
  • •Participate in vulnerability management, threat hunting, and security awareness activities.
  • •Document processes, playbooks, and incident reports in line with organizational policy.

Job Qualifications:

  • At least a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems/ Technology, or other related field
  • Has at least 3 years of ICT and business/industry work experience, preferably in security related field
  • Risk analysis, problem solving, and relationship management skills
  • Must also be able to stay abreast of any new developments in the rapidly changing cybersecurity environment
  • Has experience in endpoint security like Trend Micro, McAfee, etc
  • Familiarity with Information Security frameworks and standards (NIST, AMI, ITIL, COBIT, ISO/IEC 27002, Project Management)
  • Require knowledge on several areas, including:
  • Current security tools
  • Business security practices and procedures
  • Hardware/software security implementation
  • Encryption techniques/tools
  • Communication protocols
  • The following certifications (or equivalent) may also be required:
  • CISSP
  • CISM
  • CISA
  • CEH
  • Security+
  • MCSE: Security or MCSA
