Job Description:

  • Record day-to-day financial transactions and complete the posting process.
  • Monitor accounts payable and receivable; process supplier invoices, payments, and collections.
  • Maintain accurate records of raw material purchases, production costs, labor, and overhead expenses.
  • Prepare and reconcile monthly bank statements and financial reports.
  • Track inventory costs and reconcile stock records with accounting records.
  • Assist in preparing budgets, cost analysis, and variance reports for management review.
  • Ensure compliance with tax regulations, internal controls, and company policies.
  • Support external and internal auditors with required documentation.
  • Generate financial statements (income statement, balance sheet, cash flow) for management.
  • Coordinate with the manufacturing and procurement teams to ensure financial data accuracy.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Experience in manufacturing, production, or industrial business accounting.
  • Familiarity with tax compliance and reporting in the manufacturing sector.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to provide insights on cost control and process improvement.
  • Proven experience as a Bookkeeper, Accounting Clerk, or similar role (experience in a manufacturing setup preferred).
  • Solid understanding of accounting principles and cost accounting.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAGE).
  • Strong MS Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables, financial reporting).
  • Knowledge of payroll processing is an advantage.
  • High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to coordinate with different departments.
