Job Description:
- Record day-to-day financial transactions and complete the posting process.
- Monitor accounts payable and receivable; process supplier invoices, payments, and collections.
- Maintain accurate records of raw material purchases, production costs, labor, and overhead expenses.
- Prepare and reconcile monthly bank statements and financial reports.
- Track inventory costs and reconcile stock records with accounting records.
- Assist in preparing budgets, cost analysis, and variance reports for management review.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations, internal controls, and company policies.
- Support external and internal auditors with required documentation.
- Generate financial statements (income statement, balance sheet, cash flow) for management.
- Coordinate with the manufacturing and procurement teams to ensure financial data accuracy.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Experience in manufacturing, production, or industrial business accounting.
- Familiarity with tax compliance and reporting in the manufacturing sector.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to provide insights on cost control and process improvement.
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper, Accounting Clerk, or similar role (experience in a manufacturing setup preferred).
- Solid understanding of accounting principles and cost accounting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAGE).
- Strong MS Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables, financial reporting).
- Knowledge of payroll processing is an advantage.
- High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to coordinate with different departments.
