JOB SUMMARYresponsible for management reporting and funds managementsupport the development and improvement of financial systems and proceduresresponsible for managing risks and protecting assets by establishing, monitoring and enforcing internal controlscollaborate with executive decision makers to minimize risk and identify growth opportunitiesmanage relationships with company's investors, partners and other external stakeholders JOB DESCRIPTIONProvides management reports required by the Business Units in making timely decisions relative to business operations

Prepares cash flow projections and recommends investment alternatives to maximize cash

Explores and negotiates new payment tenders and negotiates for the best rates possible

Conducts systems review with Finance Department to identify areas for improvement either through automation or simplification with the objective of improving manpower productivity and cost efficiency

Develops and updates Finance systems and documents in manual format

Clears and approves new business processes that will have financial impact

Collaborates with department heads to establish more effective processes and controls to ensure the integrity of transactions recorded in the Company's books of accounts

Provides meaningful insights and recommends cost cutting measures and process efficiency programs

Responds to inquiries from management and other departments regarding financial results, special reporting requests and the like

Performs recruitment and selection to ensure vacancies are filled and properly staffed

Provides leadership, counsel, motivation and constructive performance reviews to develop an effective, high performing team

Oversees career path and development of key staffs

Performs other tasks as may be required by managementJOB QUALIFICATIONSBachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field; CPA, preferably with MBA8 years executive or senior managerial experience in accounting or finance with background in retail, general accounting and auditing

With deep knowledge of Philippine taxation and other relevant accounting/auditing requirements, and comprehensive work knowledge on accounting standard concepts, practices & procedures

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret financial data and cashflow management and investment experience

Must be process and systems oriented and able to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels
