About the Role

We're looking for a Technical Writer to build and maintain clear, concise, and accurate documentation across Muvr's platform.

You'll work closely with Product, Engineering, and Community Operations teams to translate complex systems — dispatch logic, APIs, workflows, and user journeys — into accessible documentation for both internal and external audiences.

This role is ideal for someone who loves clarity, structure, and precision, and who can make technical content easy to understand for engineers, operators, and partners alike.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create and maintain internal documentation for Muvr's platform features, APIs, workflows, and internal tools.
  • Draft and edit external-facing content (developer guides, integration docs, release notes, FAQs).
  • Collaborate with Product and Engineering to document new features before release.
  • Work with Community Operations and Policy teams to ensure process documentation is compliant, accessible, and up to date.
  • Develop and maintain a unified documentation structure and style guide across teams.
  • Translate product requirements and engineering updates into clear, user-friendly reference materials.
  • Partner with Design to visualize complex systems through diagrams, flowcharts, and interactive content.
  • Audit and version-control documentation to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Contribute to knowledge-sharing culture by coaching team members on writing clear documentation.
Qualifications
  • 2–5 years of experience as a Technical Writer, Product Writer, or Documentation Specialist in a tech or SaaS environment.
  • Exceptional written communication skills with high attention to detail and structure.
  • Strong understanding of software development concepts, APIs, and microservice-based systems.
  • Experience working with Product Managers, Engineers, and Designers on feature documentation.
  • Proficiency with documentation tools (Notion, Confluence, Markdown, Git, or similar).
  • Familiarity with diagramming tools (Lucidchart, Miro, or Mermaid).
  • Comfortable writing for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Highly organized, self-directed, and capable of managing multiple documentation tracks simultaneously.
Bonus Points
  • Experience in logistics, marketplace, or mobility platforms.
  • Familiarity with API documentation standards (OpenAPI, Swagger).
  • Understanding of UX writing or content design principles.
  • Knowledge of AI or automation-driven products.
  • Experience documenting operational SOPs or customer-facing support processes.
