About the Role

We're hiring a strategic SEO Marketing Specialist to elevate our organic search visibility, dominate local rankings, and generate consistent long-term leads for our growing property management business. You'll take ownership of our SEO strategy—optimizing website content, improving technical SEO, and leading our local SEO efforts to ensure we're the top choice for both renters and property owners in [insert target cities/neighborhoods].

What You'll Do

On-Page & Technical SEO

  • Optimize landing pages, blogs, and listings for high-intent local keywords (e.g., "property management [city]", "apartments for rent [neighborhood]").
  • Improve site performance (site speed, mobile UX, schema markup) for better indexing and crawlability.
  • Conduct regular technical audits and resolve issues impacting search visibility.

Local SEO Domination

  • Manage and optimize Google Business Profiles across target locations.
  • Ensure NAP (Name, Address, Phone number) consistency across online directories (Yelp, Bing, industry platforms).
  • Drive reviews, Q&A engagement, and map pack visibility.

Content Strategy & Execution

  • Create and manage an SEO-driven content calendar with blogs, city guides, and FAQs (e.g., "Best Neighborhoods for Renters in [City]").
  • Collaborate with content writers and designers to produce compelling, keyword-rich assets.
  • Identify and target featured snippet or People Also Ask (PAA) opportunities.

Performance Tracking & Reporting

  • Track keyword rankings, organic traffic, and lead conversions using tools like Google Search Console, GA4, Ahrefs/SEMrush.
  • Analyze performance, report on ROI, and refine strategies to beat local competition.
Requirements
What We're Looking For

Must-Haves:

  • 2+ years of experience in SEO, ideally within the real estate or property management sector.
  • Proven success in local SEO, keyword strategy, and technical optimization.
  • Familiarity with WordPress, Google Analytics, and Google Search Console.
  • Experience using SEO tools (e.g., Ahrefs, SEMrush, BrightLocal, Moz).

Bonus Points For:

  • Knowledge of link-building strategies or experience working alongside Google Ads campaigns for holistic growth.
  • Experience managing SEO projects across multiple cities or franchise-type locations.
