Trucking Supervisor

We are a growing logistics company. We are committed to timely, safe, and cost-effective delivery solutions. We are looking for a proactive and experienced Trucking Supervisor to join our team and lead our fleet operations.

The Trucking Supervisor oversees the daily operations of the company's transportation fleet. He ensures that the freight is efficiently delivered on time and on budget while complying safely to regulations. His role includes managing/supervising the delivery crew, route planning, compliance monitoring, maintenance oversight, cost control and customer service coordination.

Key Responsibilities are:

• Manage daily fleet operations, dispatching, and scheduling of trucks.
• Supervise and support delivery crew.
• Ensure compliance with government regulations and maintain proper documentation.
• Monitor vehicle maintenance schedules and coordinate repairs or inspections.
• Analyze routes and delivery schedules to optimize efficiency and reduce costs.
• Track and manage operating expenses (fuel, maintenance, tolls, etc.).
• Communicate effectively with internal departments and customers on delivery expectations.
• Monitor fleet performance using logistics software and reporting tools.
• Address incidents, delays, or emergencies in a calm and professional manner.

Job Qualifications:

• At least 8 years of experience in transportation, logistics, or fleet management.
• Strong knowledge of government regulations and fleet safety compliance.
• Experience managing delivery crews and coordinating dispatch operations.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Strong leadership and communication abilities.
