Trailer Driver

· Operate trailers or articulated trucks to transport goods locally or over long distances.

· Load and unload cargo as required, ensuring secure and damage-free transport.

Inspect vehicles before and after trips and submit inspection reports.

· Ensure cargo is properly secured and complies with weight regulations.

· Maintain daily driver logs and vehicle inspection reports.

· Comply with traffic laws, regulations, and company policies at all times.

· Communicate with dispatchers for route updates, delays, and deliveries.

· Report any mechanical issues or delays promptly.

· Keep the assigned vehicle clean and in good condition.

· Assist with basic maintenance checks like oil, tire pressure, and fluid levels.

· Follow all safety protocols, especially in handling hazardous materials.

· Operate dump trucks to transport construction materials to and from job sites.

· Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the truck is in good working condition.

· Load and unload materials safely, ensuring proper balance and weight distribution.

· Monitor the condition of the load and secure it to avoid spillage during transit.

· Comply with all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.

· Report any vehicle maintenance issues or mechanical failures promptly.

· Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and functionality of the assigned vehicle.

· Keep accurate daily logs of deliveries, mileage, fuel consumption, and work hours.

· Communicate effectively with dispatchers, site supervisors, and coworkers regarding delivery schedules and instructions.

· Follow proper dumping procedures to avoid damage to the truck or surrounding property
