ROLE SUMMARY

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to support their accounting team by managing vendor accounts, researching outstanding invoices, and resolving discrepancies. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication with vendors and internal teams. The position offers some flexibility in work hours, but significant overlap with the company's business hours is required after the initial training period.

WORK SCHEDULE: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Mountain Daylight Time (10:00 PM – 7:00 AM Philippine Standard Time), follows Philippine holidays

POSITION TYPE: Full Time

WORK ARRANGEMENT: Remote

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Read and interpret architectural and structural building plans and specifications

  • Research and resolve outstanding invoices on the accounts payable trial balance

  • Investigate discrepancies between company records and vendor billing statements, including credits and overpayments

  • Research and follow up on aged outstanding checks

  • Act as the first point of contact for vendor inquiries related to store-level AP issues and collaborate with the internal audit team

  • Coordinate with the accounting team and vendors to ensure timely and accurate processing of payments

  • Maintain accurate records of AP transactions and assist with audit requests as needed

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is preferred

  • 1–5 years of accounts payable or accounting experience required

  • Experience with PDI is a plus

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting tools

  • Experience with AP software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, NetSuite, or QuickBooks) is a plus

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
