Core Duties:

  • Transportation: Safely and efficiently transport goods, materials, or passengers to their destinations on schedule.
  • Route planning: Plan and follow the most efficient routes, using GPS and knowledge of traffic patterns, road conditions, and potential roadblocks.
  • Vehicle maintenance: Conduct routine inspections, perform basic maintenance, ensure the vehicle is clean and fueled, and report any issues or necessary repairs.
  • Loading/unloading: Load and unload goods or passengers as required, ensuring items are properly secured and undamaged.
  • Record-keeping: Maintain accurate and detailed logs of deliveries, mileage, fuel consumption, and any other required documentation.
  • Communication: Interact professionally with dispatchers, customers, and other team members, reporting any delays or issues promptly.
