About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Fire Protection (Alarms) Estimator to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, detailed take-offs, and professional quotations for fire alarm and detection projects. You will play a key role in ensuring competitive and precise pricing for both tendered and negotiated works.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review tender documentation, drawings, and technical specifications to prepare accurate estimates and material take-offs.
  • Develop detailed cost estimates for fire alarm and detection systems, including labour, materials, equipment, and subcontractor components.
  • Manage multiple tenders simultaneously while meeting deadlines and maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Support value engineering efforts and propose alternative design options when required.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market pricing, supplier costs, and industry trends.

Skills and Experience

  • Proven experience as an estimator within the fire protection or electrical industry (fire alarm experience is essential).
  • Strong understanding of fire detection and alarm system components, installation methods, and industry practices.
  • Familiarity with New Zealand Fire Protection Standards (NZS 4512, NZS 4541, etc.) is preferred but not essential.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and technical specifications.
  • Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical and numerical abilities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills — must be fluent in English.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and estimating/take-off software.

Pay: Php40, Php60,000.00 per month
